In an effort to become more efficient, the City Government of Cuyahoga Falls, OH began an initiative to use technology to reduce the need for city utility workers to travel to electric and water meters to be read in person.

Conxx designed and constructed the collection and transport network to send usage data from residential and commercial properties’ meters to the most advanced element management system (EMS) in use today.

With the implementation of this system and new water and electric meters, the city significantly reduced operational costs across the board and increased worker productivity.
